We read a wide selection of books: fiction and non-fiction, chosen by the group, generally via the Libraries Reading Group service. We then meet on the second Thursday of the month, in a member’s home, for a friendly and lively discussion on the latest book.

Books we have enjoyed recently include: Hamnet, Small Things Like These, Lessons in Chemistry, and The Salt Path.

We all contribute to the reading group annual fee of £10.80 and pay 60p each for books loaned from the library.
